Rohit Shetty Mumbai house attack: Late night, unknown assailants opened fire outside the house of director Rohit Shetty in Juhu area of Mumbai. No one was injured, but police have started an investigation. The identity of the attackers and the reason for the attack are being ascertained.
A shocking incident came to light from Juhu area of Mumbai late on Saturday night. Unidentified assailants allegedly fired indiscriminately outside the house of veteran film director Rohit Shetty. According to initial information, no one was injured in this incident, but an atmosphere of panic was created in the area. As soon as the information was received, Mumbai Police teams reached the spot and surrounded the entire area. Initial investigation has revealed that at least four rounds were fired. Police and forensic teams are busy collecting evidence.

Mumbai Police is taking this incident seriously and investigating from every angle. The identity of the attackers and the intention behind the incident have not been revealed yet. Mumbai Police Commissioner issued a statement saying, “There has been an incident of firing outside the building. We are investigating from all possible angles to identify the accused.”
Investigation into firing case continues, reason not clear
According to police sources, CCTV footage is being scrutinized and people nearby are being questioned. At present it is not clear whether this incident is related to any threat, criminal rivalry or any other reason. There has been no official reaction from Rohit Shetty or his team since the incident. Police say more information will be shared soon. At present, security has been increased in the area and investigative agencies are busy searching for the attackers.

This is not the first time that an incident of firing outside the house of a film celebrity has come to light in Mumbai. In the year 2024, two attackers had also opened fire outside Salman Khan’s house in Bandra. Lawrence Bishnoi gang later took responsibility for that incident through social media. However, at present the name of any gang or organization has not been revealed regarding this latest incident that took place outside Rohit Shetty’s house.
