Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launched major attacks in 10 cities of Balochistan under ‘Operation Hereof 2.0’. Many security personnel including 12 soldiers were killed in the suicide attacks. The fighters took the Deputy Commissioner hostage and captured many areas.

Balochistan province has once again witnessed horrific violence. Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has launched ‘Operation Herof 2.0’ from 6 am today, under which simultaneous attacks have been made on Pakistani Army and ISI positions in 10 major cities of the province. It seems that cities like Noshki, Gwadar and Mastung including Quetta have now come under the control of Baloch fighters.

Majeed Brigade’s suicide attack: Fighters entered army camp

BLA’s most dangerous group ‘Majeed Brigade’ has carried out horrific suicide attacks in five cities including Quetta and Gwadar. During the attack, the fighters entered the camps of the Pakistani Army and heavy firing is going on from both the sides. BLA has informed that Fatah Squad and Jirab teams are actively participating in this operation.

12 soldiers killed: police stations captured

BLA has said that at least 12 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in this attack. Baloch militants have captured Pakistani police buildings in Mastung and Kalat and blocked main national highways to prevent the movement of troops. There is also news of 7 policemen being killed in the attack in Quetta.

Deputy Commissioner taken hostage: Baloch fighters took to the streets

Noshki District Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Hussain has been taken hostage by Baloch fighters and a video related to this has also been released. In the capital Quetta, fighters looted a bank and blew it up and are roaming freely with weapons. Many police vehicles have also been set on fire.

Pakistani army maintained silence

Despite such major attacks, the Pakistani Army has not yet issued any official statement. However, according to local reports, fighting is still going on between the army and the fighters. Three BLA fighters are also reported to have been killed in this clash.
