This film was going to be his last project before entering politics, for which he had been preparing for a long time. But the release of the film is stuck due to non-receipt of certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Meanwhile, Vijay has surprised everyone by taking the name of Shahrukh Khan. ‘Jan Nayagan’ case stuck in Supreme Court
CBFC has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court in the certification dispute of ‘Jana Nayagan’ directed by H. Vinod. It says that no order should be passed without hearing the CBFC. Due to this the matter seems to be taking longer.
