The Kanpur Chapter of this campaign proceeded with full enthusiasm and energy on its second day. The purpose of this campaign is not only to honor truck drivers, but also empower them in technical skills, physical and mental health and financial matters. Famous comedian Annu Awasthi also reached this event on the second day. In this event on the second day, hundreds of truck drivers got the benefit of technical skill training as well as physical and mental health sessions. The special thing is that the driving training being given under the Skill India program of the Government of India was completed in just three hours and certificates were given to the drivers. This certificate not only proves their 12th pass qualification, but is also helpful in renewing the license.
Special yoga sessions
Special yoga sessions were organized by Yoga Institute keeping in mind the mental and physical health of these drivers driving long distances. In these, measures were given to relieve problems like stress, fatigue and back pain through special asanas prepared for truck drivers.
Information about safety measures from cyber fraud
Also, the team of Piramal Swasthya spread awareness about serious diseases like TB. Facilities like blood sugar, BP and eye testing were also provided for free. In the direction of financial empowerment, NSE experts informed the drivers about financial planning, savings, smart investment and safety measures from cyber fraud. After Kanpur, this campaign will now turn to cities like Kalamboli, Gandhidham, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, where more truck drivers will be able to become part of it.
