Today he ended his life by shooting himself in the chest in his office in Langford, Bengaluru. IT officials were raiding Confident Group for the last few days. Raids were conducted at many places including the office of Confident Group and CJ Roy’s farmhouse. CJ Roy, who reached the office amid the search by the officers, was interrogated. CJ Roy, who had gone into the room to bring some documents, committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest.

CJ Roy faced questioning for about an hour in front of IT officials in Langford. He answered many questions related to business. CJ Roy also gave many documents sought by the IT officials. During this time, more documents related to some answers were sought as evidence. CJ Roy, who went into the room with the promise of bringing these documents, shot himself in the chest with his revolver. The office staff immediately admitted CJ Roy to Narayana Hospital in HSR Layout. But CJ Roy had died before reaching the hospital. The body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
