Bengaluru: CJ Roy, a well-known businessman from Bengaluru, has committed suicide. He ran the business of Confident Real Estate in India and abroad. Actually, Confident Group was raided by Income Tax officials. Fearing this IT raid, businessman CJ Roy committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his revolver in front of the officials.

The incident took place on Langford Road near Richmond Circle, Bengaluru. Critically injured CJ Roy was accused of tax evasion. For this reason, Income Tax officials suddenly raided today. This step of CJ Roy, owner of property worth thousands of crores, has surprised the business world.

CJ Roy was the founder and chairman of Confident Group, which was active in real estate, hospitality and infrastructure. CJ Roy bought the first Maruti 800 in 1994, which he bought back for Rs 10 lakh after finding it on social media 27 years later.
