The structure of the Revenue Department is being strengthened in Uttar Pradesh. Rs 196.39 crore has been released for the financial year 2025-26. With this, office and residential buildings will be constructed and repaired in divisions, districts and tehsils, so that citizens can get better services.
Lucknow. As per the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the work of strengthening the infrastructure of the Revenue Department is going on at a fast pace. A total of Rs 196.39 crore has been released in the financial year 2025-26 for the construction and repair of office and residential buildings in the divisions, districts and tehsils of the state. With this money, construction work is progressing at a fast pace. With the completion of these buildings, the work of the Revenue Department will be smooth and the people of the state will be able to get revenue related services in an easy and convenient manner.
New buildings in many tehsils including Obra, Amroha, Naugawan Sadat
New buildings are being constructed in many districts to improve revenue functions. Construction of revenue buildings is in progress in Obra of Sonbhadra, Loni, Amroha and Naugawan Sadat of Ghaziabad, Orai of Jalaun, Naugarh of Siddharthnagar, Vidhuna of Auraiya and Kurawali of Mainpuri. Some of these buildings are almost ready, while the rest will be completed soon. All these buildings will be equipped with modern facilities, where all revenue related work can be done under one roof. Along with this, repair work of Collectorate buildings in Gorakhpur, Meerut and Sambhal is also going on, so that the administrative work can become more organized.
Collectorate repair and modern revenue structure
The government’s aim is that the revenue structure in every district should be modern and easy. Better arrangements for citizen services, digital facilities and an efficient environment for the employees are being created in the new Collectorate and Tehsil buildings. This will speed up disposal of files and the public will be able to get services in less time.
Construction of multipurpose auditorium hall in Maharajganj
Funds have been approved for the construction of multipurpose auditorium hall at Maharajganj district headquarters and construction work has started. Apart from this, residential complexes of revenue employees are also being constructed and repaired. The District Magistrate’s residence is being repaired in Barabanki, Type-4 housing is being constructed in Ayodhya, and new residential buildings are being constructed in Haraiya tehsil of Basti.
New proposed buildings and residential projects
Reconstruction of Collectorate in Mirzapur, new buildings of Kanpur Sadar Tehsil, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar Tehsil of Chandauli and Kasimabad and Sewrai Tehsils of Ghazipur are proposed. Proposals have also been made for a court room in Meerut Divisional Commissioner’s office and the court room of Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) in Amroha.
Apart from this, the approval process is going on on the proposals for construction of housing for employees in many districts including Ayodhya, Kanpur, Moradabad, Lalitpur, Muzaffarnagar, Hardoi, Varanasi, Agra and Jaunpur. These projects will strengthen the administrative structure and provide better facilities to the employees.
