The accused have been identified as Navjot Singh son Harvinder Singh, who lives in Taharpur of Najibabad police station area of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh and her girlfriend Nidhi Sharma daughter Hukam Singh, who lives in Mandavali police station area of Bijnor.

According to the police, Nidhi used to stand on the road in the deserted areas in search of hunting and asked for lift from the people. If a person used to give them a lift, she would take her to a hotel by trapping her in a love trap and got a video in an objectionable condition. Told that a girl and her boyfriend have collected her threatening to implicate her in the rape case. On this complaint, the police registered a case and investigated the accused and arrested the accused.
