The case of an alleged fake encounter in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh 16 years ago is again in the news. In this case, TI Mangal Singh Papola, posted at Jhansi Road police station in Gwalior, has come under the purview of CBI action. The CBI has issued a warrant against him, but when the CBI constable reached the police station with this warrant, Papola was not there. After this, when an attempt was made to contact TI, they did not know anything. Papola turned off his mobile phone and went underground. Now they have escaped with special pay leaves.
In 2009, the police of Neemuch police station claimed that they had killed Banshi Gurjar, a drug smuggler in an encounter on the night of 7 and 8 February. After this incident, the police of Neemuch police station made a lot of headlines in the entire state. After Gurjar returned, it became clear that the police had done a fake encounter, in which the person who killed was someone else.
Promotion was found after fake encounter
Police officers involved in this incident were accused of fake encounter. Mangal Singh Papola was also included in this so -called encounter, who was at the post of the constable at that time. Right now Papola is at Jhansi Road police station in Gwalior as TI. During this time Papola was with the then TI PS Parmar and Mukhtar Qureshi. After this encounter, Papola was also promoted.
First investigation was handed over to CID
The investigation of this fake encounter was initially handed over to the CID, but due to the matter being associated with the police department, there were many allegations of smuggling. After this, while giving a verdict on a petition filed in the court, he was transferred to the CBI. Recently, after the strictness of the court, the CBI has intensified the investigation and action of the case. In the case of this fake encounter of Neemuch, TI Papola is hanging on several senior police officers.
