Marcus Stoinis scored an unbeaten innings of 34 runs. Shashank Singh could score two runs, Marco Yansen five runs and Glenn Maxwell for three runs. Due to this performance, Punjab set a target of 245 runs in 20 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Harshal Patel achieved four successes by spending 42 runs in four overs. Ishaan Malinga took two wickets. Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami proved to be very expensive for the team. In four overs, he spent 75 runs without taking any wickets.
