Now, the two Note 15 Pro phones are coming to India.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro series arrive with capable mid-range chipsets, large silicon carbon batteries, vibrant 1.5K OLED screens, top-notch durability, and a high-res primary camera sensor. However, it isn’t all rosy, as the Note 15 Pro series ships with Android 15 out of the box, a notable letdown now that Android 16 is already rolling out on rival mid-range smartphones.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Specifications
The Redmi Note 15 Pro series brings a strong mix of performance, camera capability, and durability, positioning itself as a well-rounded mid-premium lineup. Both models are expected to run Android 15 out of the box, layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0, ensuring a consistent software experience across the series. Redmi is offering four years of Android and six years of regular security patches with the Note 15 Pro series.
In terms of performance, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra SoC, paired with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ steps things up with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and Adreno 810 GPU. This dual-chip strategy allows Xiaomi to cater to different performance preferences while keeping everyday multitasking and gaming smooth on both devices.
Camera hardware is largely shared across the lineup. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series features a 200MP Samsung HPE primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide camera on both models. For selfies, the standard Note 15 Pro is tipped to include a 20MP front camera, while the Note 15 Pro+ upgrades this to a sharper 32MP sensor, appealing more to video callers and content creators.
Durability is another highlight. Both phones are expected to carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering enhanced protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets. Overall, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series focuses on flagship-grade cameras, capable performance, and class-leading durability, while differentiating mainly on chipset and selfie camera resolution.
