Mumbai: Social media influencer Orry aka Orhan Awatramani has said he could “let go” of his fallout with actor Sara Ali Khan if her mother, Amrita Singh, were to apologise to him.
Speaking in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Orry said he has distanced himself from both Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan due to unresolved personal issues. “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through and I just don’t think I can do that anymore,” he said, while declining to share further details. However, he added that reconciliation was still possible if Amrita Singh were to apologise in the future.
Orry also confirmed that he unfollowed Sara on social media some time ago and has not followed Ibrahim for years. He stressed that the fallout is real but not beyond repair.
The controversy gained momentum after Orry appeared on Elvish Yadav’s podcast, where he named Ibrahim Ali Khan when asked who he thought was the most “besharam” (shameless) person in the industry, further fuelling online discussions.
He also spoke about how his friendship with Sara began through social media interactions and later grew when they met in New York. The two reportedly shared a close bond before their relationship soured.
Speculation about their fallout first surfaced after Orry posted a Instagram reel titled “3 Worst Names,” which many believed hinted at Sara, her mother Amrita Singh, and actor Palak Tiwari.
Neither Sara Ali Khan nor her family has responded publicly to Orry’s remarks so far.
