Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav appealed to the people of the state to join the ‘Drug Free Madhya Pradesh’ campaign. The ‘Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori 2.0’ campaign will run from 15th to 30th July.

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while issuing a message to the people of the state on July 10, appealed to all the citizens to take active participation in the ‘Drug Free Madhya Pradesh’ campaign. He said that this is not just a government campaign, but the responsibility of the entire society. If every citizen joins this campaign, then the goal of making the state drug free will definitely be achieved.

Youth power is playing an important role in the development journey of Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly in every field and the youth power of the state is making an important contribution in this development journey. Along with this, common citizens are also ensuring their participation in various development works. He said that in such a time, the increasing trend of drug addiction is becoming a serious challenge for both society and development. Therefore, it is very important to eradicate this evil from its roots.

Government taking forward Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Drug Free India’ resolution

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is strongly taking forward the ‘Drug Free Madhya Pradesh’ campaign under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. He said that the state government is running a massive campaign for effective control of all types of drugs, so that the society can be freed from this serious problem.

Addiction not only spoils the present but also the future of the coming generations.

The Chief Minister said that drug addiction affects not only the individual but the entire family and society. It harms the lives of present as well as future generations. Due to intoxication, the talent, creative thinking and ability of the youth to move forward gets affected. He said that drug addiction also brings people’s families to the breaking point. For this reason, the state government is taking this campaign forward with its full capacity and public cooperation.

State government committed to the goal of drug free India by the year 2029

The Chief Minister said that the Madhya Pradesh government is working with full commitment to fulfill Prime Minister Modi’s resolve of ‘Drug Free India’ and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah’s target of making the country completely drug free by the year 2029. He said that continuous efforts are being made in this direction through public participation and the campaign will be expanded further.

Success in the fight against drugs will be achieved only through public participation.

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that just as the state has achieved success in facing a big challenge like Naxalism on the strength of public cooperation, similarly this campaign against drugs will also be successful with the cooperation of the public. He expressed confidence that with the grace of Baba Mahakal and the cooperation of the people of the state, the resolution of ‘Drug-free Madhya Pradesh’ will definitely be fulfilled.

‘Nashe se doori hai zari 2.0’ campaign will run from 15 to 30 July

The Chief Minister appealed to all the citizens of the state, especially the youth, to actively participate in the “Nashe se Doori Hai Zaroori 2.0” campaign being run by Madhya Pradesh Police from July 15 to July 30. He said that this public campaign can be made successful only with the participation of every section of the society and the dream of making Madhya Pradesh drug free will come true.
