Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and Maharatna public sector undertaking, announced the launch of ‘BharatGas Lite’, an LPG cylinder made of composite material. This is an important step towards safe, light and energy efficient cooking solutions for Goan households. With advanced composite materials, better safety, lower weight and greater convenience, we are offering a smart and safe LPG experience in line with the aspirations of modern India.
The company also says that it has been prepared keeping in mind the needs of common consumers, so that it can be easily used in cities as well as rural areas. BPCL claims that in the coming time this cylinder will gradually be made available to more and more consumers.

This next generation LPG cylinder is made from advanced composite materials and provides a safer, lighter and easier-to-use kitchen fuel solution to domestic consumers.
