A very surprising match was seen in the World Legends Pro T20 League. In this league being played in Goa, Dubai Royals defeated Gurugram Thunders by just 3 runs. The amazing thing is that the Gurugram team needed only 4 runs from the last 4 balls but despite this the team lost the match by 3 runs. Meaning, Gurugram team could not score even a single run on the last 4 balls. The interesting thing is that the last over was being bowled by a spinner and the batsmen got caught on his last 4 balls. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 99 runs in 60 balls for Gurugram but he was out in the last over. Not only did he miss his century, his team also lost the match.

How did Pujara’s team lose in the last over?

In the last over, Gurugram team needed only 7 runs to win. Dubai Royals captain Shikhar Dhawan gave the last over to Piyush Chawla, who did wonders. He gave 3 runs on the first two balls and after that on the third ball he got Pujara stumped on 99 runs. After Pujara’s dismissal, Chirag Gandhi came to the crease and this player dotted three consecutive balls. Piyush Chawla bowled him out on the last ball.
