importance of holi
Holi is not just a game of colors, but there are deep religious and social reasons hidden behind it. This festival commemorates the rescue of Prahlad, an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu, and the death of Holika, the sister of arrogant Hiranyakashyap. This is the day to forget past and present grudges and embrace each other. The festival of Holi also gives the message of arrival of spring and farewell of winter.
