Wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. Decorate the idol of Radha-Krishna in the temple with beautiful flowers. Offering Poha or white sweets to the Lord on this day is considered very auspicious. Offer Abeer or Gulal at the feet of Radha-Krishna and also apply Tilak on your forehead. Om Namo Bhagwate, chant the hymns of Vasudevay or Radha-Krishna. According to belief, donating makeup items on the day of Phulera Dooj brings happiness in marital life.
