The RAPP sheet: BCCI has prepared a list of 1307 players who were not sold in the IPL 2026 auction held in Abu Dhabi on 16 December 2025, which is called RAPP i.e. Registered Available Player Pool. The term RAPP may not be that popular in the Indian Premier League, but after the auction it becomes very important for the franchises. Players included in RAPP may get a chance to play as replacement players.
What is RAPP?
RAPP i.e. Registered Available Player Pool includes those players who had registered for the auction and had not withdrawn their names from that process. In simple words, just know that this pool prepared by BCCI has been prepared only from among those players who were not sold in the IPL 2026 auction.
These big foreign names included in RAPP
Steve Smith, Reece Topley, Jamie Smith and Jonny Bairstow are among the players who can be available as replacements for the franchise. That means, their names are in the RAPP list. Even the name of Darryl Mitchell, who has always been a cause of trouble for the Indian team in International ODI, is included in that list at number 98. The base price of Darryl Mitchell is Rs 2 crore. Recently, Mitchell was chosen Player of the Series in the ODI series between India and New Zealand.

Indian players include names like Mayank Agarwal, KS Bharat, Deepak Hooda, Navdeep Saini, Chetan Sakariya, Sandeep Warrier and Umesh Yadav, who have been included in the RAPP list by BCCI with their base price of Rs 75 lakh.

According to BCCI rules, no franchise can sign any player of RAPP for less than the price fixed in the auction. Sometimes players involved in RAPP are used by some franchises as net bowlers. But, in that case BCCI makes it clear that that franchise has no right on that player. Meaning, if any other franchisee wants to add him as a replacement, it can do so.
