Mumbai Police has arrested an actor for sexually harassing his domestic help for a long time on the pretext of marriage. According to police officials, this action was taken on the basis of the complaint of a 41-year-old woman. The accused has been identified as Nadeem Khan, who was seen in the recently released blockbuster film ‘Dhurandhar’. The police had detained him on January 22 and he is currently in police custody.

The complainant woman has alleged that earlier she used to do domestic work in the houses of various film personalities. During this time, he met Nadeem Khan and the closeness between the two grew. The woman says that the actor had promised to marry her. According to the woman, taking advantage of this trust, the accused forcibly had physical relations with her several times in the last 10 years. The complaint also said that the alleged incidents took place at the woman’s house in Malvani and the accused’s residence in Versova.

When the actor refused to marry, the woman lodged a complaint at the Versova police station. Since the first alleged incident took place in Malvani area and the victim also lives there, the case has been transferred to Malvani police station under zero FIR. Police are investigating the matter further.
