Phalgun is the last month of the Hindu calendar.

Therefore its Sutak etc. rules will not be valid here. Only in the countries where this eclipse will be visible, its Sutak etc. rules will be followed. This day will be Amavasya of Phalgun month. Due to Amavasya on Tuesday, it will be called Bhaumvati Amavasya. According to Indian time, this solar eclipse will start at 3:27 pm and will last till 7:58 am in the morning.
