A woman in China was divorced by her husband because of vitiligo disease, which had caused her hair to fall. After 16 years of marriage, her husband ignored and abused her. The woman has got the custody of the child.
New Delhi: A Chinese woman has alleged that her husband divorced her due to hair fall due to a skin problem. According to the report of South China Morning Post, a lot of sympathy for the woman and anger against her husband is being seen on social media regarding this matter. The 36-year-old woman, identified by the surname Li, lives in Shangqiu, Henan province.
Lee told that she had fallen ill two years ago. Since then her husband started ignoring her. “I devoted myself to the family. I took care of my child, washed clothes, cooked and did all the household chores,” Li told Henan TV. She said that even after doing all this, her husband did not care about her at all. She said she was looking for support after being ignored by the person she trusted and depended on the most. That’s why she came in front of the media.

The doctors treating him said that Lee was suffering from a disease called vitiligo. Because of this, hair turns white before falling out. Because of this change in his look, the neighborhood children started making fun of him. The woman told that after this her husband also started insulting her.
The woman said, “My husband had stopped talking to me at family functions and social events. He used to say that you are the reason for the disappointment on my face.” According to the report, her husband never took her to the hospital nor asked about her health. Not only this, he did not even pay a single rupee for the treatment.
“He used to tell me, ‘You are the reason for the disappointment on my face,'” Lee told the media. She said that she had become very disappointed and upset due to this behavior of her husband. After 16 years of marriage, they were left with no other option but to accept the divorce proposal. He has been given custody of his child. According to SCMP, Lee said that her husband has not yet responded to these allegations.
