The young Indian batsman ultimately played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs in just 20 balls, which included 7 fours and 5 sixes. On the basis of his innings, Team India achieved the target of 154 runs given by New Zealand in just 60 balls. Apart from Abhishek, team captain Suryakumar Yadav scored a half-century for the second consecutive match and returned unbeaten after scoring 56 runs. Whereas Ishan Kishan played an inning of 28 runs in just 13 balls.
