Karur (Tamil Nadu) [भारत]July 10 (ANI): Tamil Nadu minister and Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Aadhav Arjun inspected the preparations for Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s visit to Karur, where he will attend government and party programs on July 10. During this tour, CM Vijay will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various government welfare projects. He is also going to hand over compassionate appointment letters to the family members of those who lost their lives in the Karur tragedy.
A separate TVK party event will be organized at Atlas Ground in Karur. Preparations for the meeting, including construction of a large venue and security arrangements, are going on round the clock. Around 5,000 people are expected to attend the event, with entry restricted through QR code-based identity cards.
Preparations will be completed by Thursday night
After inspecting the site, Aadhav Arjun told reporters that preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit were going on at full speed and would be completed by Thursday night. When asked about financial assistance for those injured in the Karur tragedy, Aadhav Arjun said, “TVK had not yet provided assistance as the party has received verified details of the injured only recently… Now the information is being verified and the CM will give financial assistance to the genuinely affected victims on the basis of the verified list…” (ANI)
