According to a report, a total of 685 roads are closed in Himachal Pradesh. 292 roads are closed in Lahaul-Spiti, 132 in Chamba, 126 in Mandi, 79 in Kullu, 29 in Sirmaur, 20 in Kinnaur, four in Kangra, two in Una and one in Solan. Many highways and forest roads have been completely cut off. Kinnaur district is almost isolated. Road connectivity was cut off due to continuous snowfall in towns like Narkanda, Jubbal, Kotkhai, Kumarsain, Kharapathar, Rohru and Chaupal in Shimla district.
