Maharashtra Politics: Senior BJP leader and minister in the Maharashtra government, Girish Mahajan has claimed that many MPs and MLAs of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) are in touch with him.
He said that people do not trust Uddhav Thackeray’s leadership and their conduct is immature. Mahajan described Uddhav as a “pace brave” and alleged that he ruined his political future by wandering from the ideology of his father Bal Thackeray in the desire to become the Chief Minister. Mahajan’s statement has given politics hot amidst the controversy over the triple policy.

Mahajan spoke to the media in Solapur on Sunday. He said, “Even today, many MLAs and MPs of Uddhav Thackeray group are in touch with me.” He said, “If you are not sure of my point, then you will see this soon yourself.” He claimed that people under the leadership of Thackeray have no trust at all. Mahajan claimed Uddhav Thackeray as a “pale Bahadur”, claiming that his conduct is immature.

The BJP leader said, “He (Thackeray) has changed its stand to oppose the current government. The results of the upcoming Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Municipal Corporation elections will show how much public confidence is on each leader.” Mahajan also accused Uddhav Thackeray of abandoning his father Bal Thackeray’s ideology.
The BJP leader claimed, “He (after the 2019 state assembly elections) sidelined Balasaheb’s Hindutva to join hands with Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress. He has ruined his political future in the desire to become the Chief Minister.”
