Gluten Free Oats Roti Recipe

  • First of all we have to make oats flour. For this, take oats and put it in a mixer jar and blend it. Keep in mind that it should be very finely ground.
  • After grinding oats, filter it. So that you can get completely smooth dough. If the flour is coarse then there is a risk of the roti bursting.
  • Now add 1 cup water in a pan. Add salt and 1 spoon ghee in it and boil it. You have to prepare a smooth paste by adding oats flour to boiling water.
  • Actually, oats flour does not contain gluten. In such a situation, it is a little difficult to knead and roll it. Therefore we will prepare its paste.
  • After adding oats flour to hot water, mix it and keep it aside for 10 minutes. It will bind automatically. Now knead it with your hands also. This will make it smooth.
  • Rolling roti is also not easy. In such a situation, take a ball of this dough, place it in the middle of butter paper and flatten it with the help of a plate. This will make the roti absolutely round and will not tear or stick.
  • You have to bake it on a hot pan just like wheat bread. Gluten free oats roti is ready. Apply ghee or butter on top and serve.
