Railway giving 20% strong discount on train ticket booking
If you are planning to hang out somewhere in this festive season or go home, then there is a tremendous news from the railway. Indian Railways has started a special offer for its passengers, in which if you book tickets on both sides and go together, then you will get a direct 20 percent discount. To take advantage of this scheme, Railways has also launched a new mobile app, named Railone. If you want, you can also book these tickets from the counter by going to the railway station.
How to travel will benefit
Railways have set special dates for this scheme. If you travel on these dates, then you will get a discount. Your visit should be between October 13 to October 26, 2025. At the same time, the return journey should be between 17 November to 1 December 2025. Keep in mind, this discount will be available only when you book tickets on both sides simultaneously. Meaning, a ticket to and from the movement cannot be made on different days. Also, the number of station, train class and passengers should also be the same.
How to book from Railone app
Railways have launched a new mobile app for the convenience of passengers – Railone. This app runs in both Android and iPhone. It is very easy to book tickets through this. First of all download the Railone App in mobile. After opening the app, you can log in from mpin or fingerprint. After this, you will see an option on the homepage of the app ‘Avail Festive Package’. The process of booking starts from here.
Now first of all, put information about your visit journey. For example, where to go from where to go and what is the date (between 13 to 26 October). After booking the ticket, you will get a PNR number. Then, there will be another option in the app Book Return Ticket (20% discount). After clicking here, the app will automatically fill the information of your station, class and passenger. Now you just have to choose the return date (between 17 November to 1 December). As soon as you pay, you will get a direct discount of 20% on the ticket.
Discount can also be obtained from ticket counter
If you do not want to book tickets from the mobile app, then it does not matter. You can also take advantage of this scheme from the reservation counter of the railway station. The only condition is that you will have to make a ticket to come and go at once and the dates should be the same as it is mentioned in the scheme.
Keep this in mind
This scheme is for everyone, but with certain conditions. This exemption will be available only when both your visit and visit are inside the fixed dates. Ticket booking should be done simultaneously. If you took a ticket at two different times, then there will be no discount. Also, the number of stations, classes and passengers in both trips should also be the same.
