This series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which will start from January 29. Pakistan has selected a surprising team for this series. A star player who has recently made a splash in the Bigg Boss League 2026 has not been included in the team.
Pakistan’s star player out
Pakistan Cricket Board has not included fast bowler Haris Rauf in the team for this series. Haris Rauf is one of the most important T20 players of Pakistan. But the reason for keeping him out of the team has not been revealed. Haris Rauf had recently performed amazingly in the Big Bass League. He had taken 20 wickets in 11 matches, he is also at the top in the list of bowlers taking the most wickets this season.
Big names have returned to Pakistan’s squad for this series. Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi had missed the recently played three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka, but now they have returned to the team. With his presence, both Pakistan’s batting and bowling have become stronger. Salman Ali Aga has been made the captain for this series. There is a strong spin bowling department in the squad. Shadab Khan has been in consistent form since his return and will now challenge the Australian batsmen along with Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Tariq. Fast bowling stars like Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi and Faheem Ashraf are included, apart from these, Mohammad Wasim Junior is also a part of the team.
