Jaunpur has achieved first position in the state by achieving 132% target in CM Yuva Yojana. Azamgarh stood second and Hardoi stood third. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor Jaunpur on UP Day.

Jaunpur district has remained at the first position in the entire Uttar Pradesh for the last several months in giving 100 percent benefit of the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign (CM Yuva Yojana). According to the data till January 22, Azamgarh stood second and Hardoi stood third in the implementation of the scheme. On the occasion of UP Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor Jaunpur district by giving it a certificate for its excellent performance.
Yogi government’s focus towards one trillion dollar economy
Yogi government is continuously taking concrete steps towards making Uttar Pradesh a one trillion dollar economy. In this sequence, many schemes are being run to make the youth of the state self-reliant and promote self-employment. Among these schemes, Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign has emerged as the first choice of the youth.
Increasing confidence of youth in CM Yuva Yojana
The popularity of CM Yuva Yojana can be gauged from the fact that so far in the current financial year, about three and a half lakh applications have been received from across the state. Yogi government has set a target of distributing 1.5 lakh loans in the financial year 2025-26. The large number of applications makes it clear that the youth are realizing their ventures and dreams through this scheme.
Status of loan distribution at state level
So far, 3,34,337 youth from the entire state have applied for loans in the financial year 2025-26. Of these, 2,81,277 applications were sent to banks, 1,06,772 applications have been approved by banks and loans for self-employment have been distributed to 1,03,353 youth.
Jaunpur gave benefits to youth 132% more than the target
Jaunpur has secured first position in the state in CM Yuva Yojana. According to District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh, as per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a special campaign is being run in the district and loans are being made available to the youth by connecting them with banks.
In the current financial year, Jaunpur had achieved the target of disbursing 2,500 loans. relative to
- 8,240 applications received
- 7,033 applications sent to banks
- Loans distributed to 3,315 youth
Thus, Jaunpur has achieved first position in the state by achieving more than 132 percent of the target.
Jaunpur will get honor on UP Day
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor Jaunpur district with a citation on the occasion of UP Day for its excellent work and more than 100 percent target achievement.
Momentum gained from workshop at block level in Azamgarh
Azamgarh District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar said that under the guidance of the Chief Minister, a special campaign is being run for effective implementation of the scheme. Before April 2025, Azamgarh was at 25th position in the scheme, but after this, workshops were organized at the block level and face-to-face counseling of bankers and applicants was conducted.
The result of this effort is that Azamgarh has continuously remained at second position in the state for the last several months. In the financial year 2025-26
- Target: 2,500 loans
- Applications: 7,315
- Applications sent to the bank: 6,253
- Loans disbursed: 3,219
Thus the target achievement was 128.76 percent.
Hardoi ranked third, other districts also performed brilliantly
Hardoi District Magistrate Anunay Jha said that the benefits of CM Yuva Yojana are being given to the youth by running a special campaign. Hardoi had achieved the target of distribution of 2,800 loans, against which
- 10,930 applications received
- 8,449 applications were sent to banks
- Loans distributed to 2,628 youth
Apart from this, Ambedkar Nagar stood fourth and Jhansi stood fifth while the performance of Kaushambi, Bahraich, Rae Bareli and Maharajganj was also commendable.
