Nursing student from Bengaluru is accused of sexually exploiting his junior on the pretext of marriage. The victim attempted suicide after he refused to marry her citing religion. A case has been registered against the accused Ahmed Yasin and he is absconding.
Bengaluru: A case has been registered at Devanahalli police station against a student of a renowned private nursing college for sexually exploiting and cheating his junior classmate of another religion by pretending to marry her. The accused is Ahmed Yasin, a resident of Kerala. He is absconding since the matter came to light and the police is searching for him. Police said that this case of sexual exploitation came to light when, upset with the boy’s betrayal, the girl tried to commit suicide by consuming poison.
In a private nursing college near Devanahalli
The victim is a first year student of a private nursing college near Devanahalli and the accused is a second year student. Both are residents of Kerala, that is why they got acquainted and then fell in love. Later, both of them started living in a live-in relationship near Devanahalli. During that time the boy sexually exploited the girl by promising her marriage. He also forced her to abort the baby twice. Ultimately, she refused to marry citing religion.
Saddened by this betrayal, the victim tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. At that time, he did not even have money for treatment, due to which his problems increased further. Local people immediately rescued him and admitted him to the hospital of the same college. Police said that the victim’s life was saved due to timely help and she is now out of danger.
