An MoU was signed between the Madhya Pradesh government and Dubai’s DP World in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in Davos. This will boost logistics, infrastructure and investment in the state and Madhya Pradesh will be connected to the global supply chain.
An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Madhya Pradesh Government and DP World, a leading company in the global logistics and supply chain sector, in Davos on Wednesday in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. DP World is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Which officers signed the MOU
On behalf of Madhya Pradesh Government, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Neeraj Mandloi and on behalf of DP World, Chief Executive Officer and Finance and Business Development Officer Mr. Anil Mohta signed the MoU. Group Chairman of DP World, Mr. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem was also present on this occasion.
Logistics and infrastructure development will get new momentum
Through this MOU, mutual agreement has been reached on issues related to industrial development, investment cooperation and trade. This agreement can play an important role in giving new direction to logistics, infrastructure and business activities in Madhya Pradesh.
Agreement on increasing investment and cooperation in Madhya Pradesh
Under the MoU, DP World has agreed to pursue the possibilities of investment and cooperation in Madhya Pradesh. This initiative is being considered an important step towards connecting the state with the national and global supply chain network.
Information about industrial policies and investment friendly environment
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave detailed information about the industrial policies of the state, favorable environment for investment and strong infrastructure. He said that Madhya Pradesh is fast becoming an emerging state for industry and trade.
Exchange of documents took place in the presence of senior officials
Senior officials of both the parties were present during the MoU and MoU documents were formally exchanged. This MoU will prove to be an important step towards developing Madhya Pradesh as a strong and effective center in the field of logistics and trade.
