Suryakumar Yadav’s statement on 8 batsmen
In recent times, it has become a trend for Team India to take the field in T20 International with a combination of 8 batsmen and 3 bowlers. In every match, batsman till number 8 is seen in the Indian playing eleven. Captain Surya was asked about the same after the T20 played in Nagpur, in response to which he said that the combination looks good and works as a team and as long as the plan of playing with 8 batsmen is working, it can be continued.
Failed to score fifty in 23rd consecutive innings
In the first T20 against New Zealand, Suryakumar Yadav was out after scoring 32 runs in 22 balls. His innings included 4 fours and 1 six. But, the wait that was going on for the last 22 innings for not scoring a half-century in T20 International continued even in the 23rd innings played in Nagpur. In such a situation, after the match, Suryakumar Yadav was also questioned about his batting.
What did Surya say about his batting?
Suryakumar Yadav said about his batting after the match that when I went to bat, the environment was absolutely suitable for me. The team’s 2 wickets had fallen for 25 runs. The team was under pressure. I like batting in those conditions. He further said that as I have said earlier, I am batting well in the nets. It is only a matter of time.
