As per the experts and candidates, the overall difficulty level of the JEE Main 2026 day 2 shift 2 exam was moderate.
The computer-based exam was held in two sessions. The morning session was scheduled from 9 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 3 PM to 6 PM.

- Use the formula: 4 X (number of correct answers) – 1 X (number of wrong answers) = scores
- The total calculated will be the probable scores secured in the exam.
The JEE Mains 2026 session 1 result will be declared on February 12. The JEE Mains 2026 session 1 is scheduled to be conducted between April 1 to April 10. The result will be announced on April 20. Candidates who qualify the JEE Mains 2026 exam will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced for admission to IITs.
