CM Mohan Yadav and NVIDIA Vice President Calista Redmond met at WEF Davos. Detailed discussions and long-term partnerships were agreed upon for cooperation on AI-based governance, agriculture, education, service delivery and sovereign AI.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s meeting with Calista Redmond, Vice President, Global AI Initiatives, NVIDIA, at the World Economic Forum, Davos. In the meeting, various aspects of expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced technology based initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, promotion of innovation and possible collaboration were discussed in detail.
AI based development will get new direction: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that with the effective use of AI, the benefits of government schemes and services can be extended to all sections of the society including farmers with greater efficiency, transparency and speed. He said that the state government aims to further strengthen the service delivery system by connecting AI with various government databases, so that eligible beneficiaries can get the benefits of the schemes in a timely manner.
Madhya Pradesh is getting empowered by technology based governance
It was told in the meeting that Madhya Pradesh has given impetus to technology-based development by making strategic use of its strong points like land, labor and logistics. Digital platforms and innovations in the field of education have made the learning process more simple and effective. At the same time, with the use of modern technologies in the agricultural sector, better information, services and decision-support are being provided to the farmers.
Transparent and rapid service delivery through data and AI
The state government is making governance and service delivery more transparent, prompt and effective by adopting digital solutions, data-based decision systems and Artificial Intelligence. These efforts are aimed at ensuring targeted and timely access of schemes and services to citizens, thereby realizing inclusive and sustainable development through technology.
NVIDIA’s Five Key Strategies on Sovereign AI
Calista Redmond explained that NVIDIA is working on five key strategies for the development of sovereign AI, so that AI solutions can be tailored to the needs and priorities of countries. He said that through AI, skilled human resources can be linked to the right industries and opportunities, thereby creating new employment opportunities and promoting innovation.
NVIDIA focuses on India-centric AI solutions
Calista Redmond, referring to the ongoing AI pilot projects in various states of India, said that NVIDIA wants AI solutions to be developed according to Indian data, models and needs. This will make technology more relevant, useful and effective.
Agreement on long term cooperation between Madhya Pradesh and NVIDIA
In the meeting, Madhya Pradesh government and NVIDIA agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the field of AI and advanced technology, identify new opportunities for partnership and long-term cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit. This collaboration is expected to give a new direction to innovation, skill development and technology-based development in the state.
