In the Indian market, this car competes with vehicles like Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Roomian and Toyota Innova. The starting ex-showroom price of Kia Carens Clavis is Rs 11.20 lakh. The Carens Clavis is available in three engine options – 1.5-litre turbo petrol, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. It also has the option of 6-speed manual, iMT and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Customers can buy it in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations.
Its design and features are quite premium. On the outside, star map LED daytime running lights, LED headlamps, 17-inch crystal cut dual-tone alloy wheels and connected LED tail lamps are provided. At the same time, the interior has features like 26.62 inch dual panoramic display, 4-way adjustable power driver seat, Kia Connect technology, remote window control and ‘Find My Car’.
This car is also strong in terms of safety. Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is provided in the top variants. It includes around 20 safety features like 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, smart cruise control, lane keeping assist, front collision avoidance assist and driver attention warning.
