What happened at Jalna station at midnight? The secret of unauthorized entry revealed!

As soon as the video went viral, top officials of South Central Railway were alerted. Immediately the investigation started as to how such a huge decoration was possible in a moving train? The truth that came out in the investigation exposed the security claims of the Railways. According to the official statement issued by the Railways, on July 6, 2026, a newly married couple traveling in Nandigram Express had hired a private decorator online to make their journey memorable. When the train stopped at Jalna railway station, the decorator secretly entered the first AC coach along with the luggage. The surprising thing was that the ticket checker (TC) posted in the coach neither stopped him nor did any checking of him. This was considered a very serious lapse from security point of view.

Railway’s big hammer: On-duty TC suspended, FIR lodged against decorator

In this affair of romance, she got the job of on-duty ticket checker (TC). Railways did not tolerate this negligence and suspended the ticket checker concerned with immediate effect. The railways said in its statement: “The entry of the decorator into the coach at Jalna station was completely without permission. The employee concerned has been suspended and a detailed departmental inquiry has been ordered. Further strict action will be taken based on the inquiry report.” The matter did not stop here. Railways has also tightened legal action against that private decorator. A case has been registered under the Railway Act on charges of traveling without ticket, illegally entering the train and trespassing.

‘Great debate’ broke out on the internet: Amidst praises, serious questions were raised on security

This video has divided the internet world into two factions. While on one hand there is a flood of youth and meme makers, on the other hand serious questions are also being raised. Many users praised the couple’s efforts and termed it as a “honeymoon on wheels” and a very memorable surprise. But, on the contrary, conscious citizens have expressed serious concerns regarding railway safety and violation of rules. People say that:

  • Fire Hazard: Fairy lights, candles, plastic balloons and paper items used in decoration can cause a massive fire if there is a short circuit in a running train.
  • Dirt problem: After the celebrations are over, the additional burden of cleaning the dirt and garbage spread in the compartment falls on the poor railway staff.

This incident of Nandigram Express has made it clear that even if your intention is to give a unique surprise to your partner, ignoring the rules in a public and sensitive transport like Railways can prove costly.
