On Wednesday (January 21, 2026), AP Singh expressed confidence in the operational capability of the Indian Air Force. He said, “We can bring Pakistan to its knees by attacking many targets within a few hours. Be it evacuating people from war zones like Sudan or attacking terrorist hideouts, our Air Force has proved its capability everywhere.”
Economic power alone is not enough, military power is the ultimate truth

Military strength is the real measure of national power. Recalling history, he said, “Once upon a time, we and China together accounted for 60% of the world’s GDP. Yet, due to lack of military strength, we faced foreign attacks and became slaves.”
Strong army and willpower necessary
AP Singh said, “If you do not have a strong army, anyone can attack you, Iraq and Venezuela are examples of this.” He further said that along with the army, the political will to use it is also equally important. “If you don’t have willpower, your restraint is considered weakness. When you show restraint by being strong, the world considers it ‘strength’.”
