Heavy rain and thunderstorm in Delhi-NCR
On July 9, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 33 degrees and minimum 24 degrees Celsius. The sky will be densely cloudy throughout the day and there will be moderate rain. It may rain with thunder several times from morning till night. Warning of heavy rain continues in Noida also. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers continuing on 10th and 11th July also.
Rain in many cities of Uttar Pradesh, heavy rain alert in Agra
There is a warning of heavy rain and lightning in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on July 9. Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Meerut will also remain cloudy with intermittent rain. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Kanpur on July 10, while in Lucknow, continuous clouds and rain may continue till July 11. The temperature will be between 30 to 35 degrees Celsius in most cities.
Rain with thunder continues in Bihar and Jharkhand
Patna, Chhapra, Arrah and Buxar will remain cloudy on July 9 and many areas may see rain and thundershowers. Lightning warning also continues in Patna and Chhapra. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and strong wind at the speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in Ranchi, Giridih, Dumka and Daltonganj of Jharkhand. There are chances of light to moderate rain in Dhanbad. There are indications that the rainy season will continue in Jharkhand from 12th to 14th July.
Monsoon will also be active in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan
There is a possibility of rain, thunder and storm in Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain on July 9. The weather may remain like this for the next several days. There will be rain and thundershowers in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur of Rajasthan also. There is a possibility of stormy rain in Jaipur till July 10, while light to moderate rain may continue in Udaipur. Jaisalmer will remain hot amid light rain and the temperature may reach 41 degrees Celsius.
There will be relief from rain in Mumbai and Pune
In Maharashtra, moderate rain is expected in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai on July 9. The impact of heavy rain will be less, but clouds will remain throughout the day. There is a possibility of moderate rain in Pune also for the second consecutive day. Due to continued light to moderate rain between July 10 and 14, the temperature will remain between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius and there will be some relief from humidity.
