WPL 2026: Delhi won with captain Jemima’s strong fifty, champion Mumbai scored a hat-trick of defeats.

Delhi Capitals registered their second win in the fourth season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Delhi, which was runner-up for the last three consecutive seasons, had a bad start in the tournament. But new captain Jemimah Rodrigues played a match-winning half-century and gave Delhi a big win over Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets. Delhi achieved the target of 155 runs given by Mumbai in just 19 overs. This is the franchise’s second win in the tournament, while defending champion Mumbai’s third consecutive and fourth overall defeat.

Delhi’s strong bowling
