Narendra Modi has gone to China on a two -day visit. Here he will attend the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) summit. It is being organized in Tianjin. The SCO Summit will be on 31 August and 1 September. PM Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday. He will also interact with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 1 September.

World’s eye on PM Modi’s visit amidst American tariffs
PM Narendra Modi is visiting China at a time when India and the US relations have been tension due to 50% tariff imposed by US President Donald Trump. Trump has imposed an additional 25 percent tariff on India due to purchasing crude oil from Russia. During the visit to China, Narendra Modi will meet with Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin. The world is eyeing it.
PM Modi, who visited Japan a day earlier, said, “There is instability in the world economy at this time. Given this, it is important for India and China to work together to bring stability in the world economic system as two major economies.”
