About Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana split
Palash and Smriti were earlier set to get married on November 23. However, the wedding celebrations were abruptly postponed following a medical emergency involving Smriti’s father. Around the same time, Palash was also hospitalised in Mumbai, triggering widespread speculation. In the days that followed, rumours intensified, with unverified claims circulating online, including allegations of infidelity.
Addressing the chatter, Palash later shared a detailed note on Instagram, choosing clarity over silence. “I have decided to move on in my life and step back from my personal relationship,” he wrote. He also expressed anguish over how quickly rumours spread. “Its been very difficult for me to see people react so easily on baseless rumours about something which has been most sacred to me. Its the most difficult phase of my life and I will deal with it gracefully holding on to my beliefs.” Palash further added, “I truly hope we, as a society, learn to pause before judging someone based on unverified gossip, whose sources are never identified. Our words can wound in ways we may never understand.”
Soon after, Palash and Smriti unfollowed each other on Instagram, quietly confirming the end of their relationship.
