How did BJP become so rich? What is the truth of Rs 10,107 crore?
In December 2025, Congress leader Ajay Maken claimed in the Rajya Sabha that BJP has Rs 10,107 crore in its bank account. This amount is about 75 times more than that of Congress. According to Election Commission and ADR data, BJP’s declared income in 2023-24 alone was Rs 4,340 crore, which is 74% of the total income of all national parties. This money was spent not only in elections but also in strengthening the organization.
