Will Team India impose Sanju Samson’s rule on this batsman also? Failure in 5 consecutive innings

The Indian team suddenly seems to be in trouble in the T20 format. For the last two and a half years, the most successful, most explosive and two-time world champion team of this format has been yearning for a victory. The situation has become so bad that after the captain who made the team the world champion, the player of the tournament Sanju Samson also dropped from the team. The result still remains the same and now another batsman is under question due to his performance. Name is Ishan Kishan. The question is whether he will also be dropped from the team?

Samson was dropped

Right from the beginning of this tour (Ireland and England), the Indian team management gave full support to the players who played a big role in winning the T20 World Cup. This was the reason why there was not much change in the playing-11 in the three consecutive matches of the tour. Especially despite the pressure of including 15-year-old young opening star Vaibhav Suryavanshi, confidence was shown in batsmen like Samson, Abhishek and Ishan. But after 3 failures Samson’s holiday It happened and now he is on the bench.

After the team’s defeat in the third T20 match in Nottingham, coach Gautam Gambhir, in response to a question related to Samson, had said that his contribution in the World Cup cannot be forgotten but form also has to be kept in mind. Gambhir said that the best combination is chosen to get the right result. Gambhir also said that every player has to earn his place. There is no reason to disagree with this statement of the head coach because the current form plays an important role in the outcome of any match or series.

Will similar action be taken against Ishaan also?

In this respect, the decision to drop Samson seems right. But will Team India now exclude Ishan Kishan from the playing-11 on this logic? This question is being asked because the performance of this left-handed star wicketkeeper-batsman has also not been good on the current tour. Ishaan has been able to score only 75 runs in 5 consecutive innings played against Ireland and England. Out of this, he scored 49 runs in a single innings.

If seen, Ishaan has definitely scored some runs in comparison to Samson. Samson had scored only 6 runs in 3 innings. But the important aspect in this is that Ishaan’s innings of 49 runs was very slow, for which he faced 40 balls. He scored these runs in the second T20 match against England and in the end he was defeated by Team India. In such a situation, his performance is also not helping the team. Therefore, it is natural to raise the question whether Ishaan will also be thrown out like Samson? If this happens, will Samson return?
