Reliance Industries’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) was special this time, because its entire focus was on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The meeting led by Mukesh Ambani also attended the world’s two big names of technology CEOs Sundar Pichai and Meta (Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Both these veterans made big announcements about AI in India and told that in the coming time, India will become a role model in AI for the whole world.
Now grocery shops will also become digital?

Sundar Pichai said that the possibilities of AI in India are very large and this technology will benefit not only for big industrialists, but also to shopkeepers of village-towns.
Google and Reliance will work together to bring AI in areas like retail, telecom, energy and financial service. That is, in the coming time, shops can also be equipped with facilities like automatic stock management, digital payment, customer analytics.
Jamnagar will be a cloud hub
Another big announcement was made in AGM. It will be a state -of -the -art cloud center to be formed from the Partnership of Google Cloud and Jio. Its special thing is that it will run through Reliance’s clean energy and will be fully ready in India. Its purpose is to make all Reliance businesses digital and AI-drivers. Sundar Pichai described it just the beginning and said that there will be more big changes in the coming years.
AI will be smart in future
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in the AGM that today the AI systems have become so smart that they are learning to improve themselves. In future, these systems will work faster than human brain and every person’s abilities will increase manifold. With the partnership of Meta and Reliance, India will get open-sources AI models like LLAMA, which will be able to mold according to the need of every business. Whether it is a small startup or a big company, this technology will be useful for everyone.
Zuckerberg further stated that this initiative will give new strength to every Indian entrepreneur, shopkeeper, creator and startup. This will not only make business easier but will also make customers’ services smart.
