Investigation reached Brahma Nagar, woman identified
After interrogating the taxi driver, Sipri Bazar police station became active and reached Brahma Nagar on his trail. After talking to the local people, the deceased woman was identified as Preeti. It was revealed that Preeti was living in a rented house in the same area.
Police investigation revealed that Preeti was living with retired railway worker Brijbhan, resident of Nandanpura. It is being told that Preeti was his third wife. According to initial investigation, Preeti was murdered about a week ago. After this, the accused cut the body into pieces inside the house and kept burning them at different times with the intention of destroying the evidence.
