Sagar Stepmother Murder Case: A sensational incident has come to light from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, which shocked the entire city. Both the accused escaped from the house with jewelry and cash after the murder, but the police nabbed him from Vidisha district with the help of location tracking and CCTV footage.

This shocking incident took place on 22 August in Gopalganj area of Sagar district. The deceased Sadhana (46) used to protest against the relationship of her half -son Ajay (21) and her partner Rahul alias Dev Yadav (23). Sadhana often refused to publicly show the relationship to the two, causing the family to be embarrassed. Ajay also asked for money to stay away from his father, but Sadhana’s refusal deepened the relationship.
Caught conspiracy in April, committed incident in August
Police investigation revealed that Ajay and Rahul had conspired to kill Sadhana in April itself. He got the opportunity for the incident on 22 August, when Ajay’s father Narayan went out of the house. Only Sadhana and Ajay were present in the house. Meanwhile, Rahul also reached there and the two together attacked Sadhana. He was first attacked, then strangled to death. After the murder, both of them escaped after robbing jewelry and cash from the house.

Sagar SP Vikas Sahwal said that the police searched the location and call details of the accused. Based on CCTV footage and mobile location, his search reached Siroj area of Vidisha district. Both were arrested from there. During interrogation, Ajay confessed that his stepmother used to interfere in his and Rahul’s relationship and there was a dispute about money. That is why he decided to remove her from the road.
