Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the country’s biggest cultural gathering based on Mahabharata. The message of peace, dialogue and coexistence was conveyed through immersive dome theatre, ‘Fall of Bhishma’ and messages from Geeta.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the country’s first and till date biggest cultural event focused on Mahabharata, the great story of struggle and generosity of global civilizations. On this historic occasion, the drama performances “Fall of Bhishma” and “Saga of Karmachakra” presented by the prestigious theater group of Indonesia left the audience emotional.

Before the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav saw exhibitions based on immersive dome theatre, backdrop, weapons, Chakravyuh and flags. Along with this, Indian Puppet Art, magazine and website of Shri Krishna Patheya Trust and publications of Veer Bharat Trust were also launched. Among these, the important ones were the release of the books “Breath of Civilizations” (an anthology of global poems) and “Forgotten Civilizations”.

He said that Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi making Somnath a symbol of national self-respect is a modern form of the same cultural consciousness, which has its roots in texts like Mahabharata. Mahabharata movie screening in India’s first legendary immersive dome theatre.

India’s first mythological immersive dome theater presented by Veer Bharat Trust and Amartya Lok Tales, Mumbai. The first presentation at the Dome Theater was “Narayana: Sarvam”, a 6-minute immersive film based on the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. The film ends with the darshan of Shri Krishna in his universal form. The divine voice of Shri Krishna in the film has been given by famous actor Saurav Raj Jain, who has made a special identity by playing the role of Shri Krishna on TV.

Indonesian theater group’s emotional presentation ‘Bhishma Ka Patna’

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Mahabharata Samagam, the dance-drama ‘Fall of Bhishma’ was presented by a theater group from Indonesia. This presentation effectively depicts the epic tale of the clash of civilizations and generosity and left a deep impression on the audience.
