Vaibhav Sooryavanshi vs Jofra Archer: Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 15-year-old young sensation of the Indian cricket team, has created history by making his debut in international cricket, but the big and stormy innings that the fans were waiting for with his bat, is getting longer at the moment. In the series being played against England, Vaibhav failed to score big for the second consecutive match and returned to the pavilion after becoming the victim of a deadly and fast bouncer from English fast bowler Joffra Archer.
Could not convert good start into big innings
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who came to chase the target of 202 runs, made his aggressive intentions clear as soon as he arrived. During his short innings, he also hit two brilliant sixes while attacking the English bowlers. But his innings could not last long. Suryavanshi could face only 5 balls, in which he scored 13 runs. Earlier also in the last match of the series, he was able to score only 14 runs.
Helpless in front of Joffra Archer’s speed
England’s express fast bowler Joffra Archer came to bowl in the third over of the Indian innings. Archer completely surprised this young batsman with his speed. The fourth ball of the over, Joffra Archer bowled a sharp short pitch ball on the line of leg stump at a speed of 145 kilometers per hour. Suryavanshi tried to play a hook shot on this fast ball, but due to the high speed of the ball, he got completely dodged and could not play the ball at the right time.
The ball left his bat and touched his gloves slightly and went back, where wicketkeeper Jos Buttler took an easy catch without making any mistake. Due to which Vaibhav Suryavanshi got disappointed and walked towards the pavilion even before the umpire could signal. The Indian team management will hope that this young player will learn from this mistake and return with more strength in the upcoming matches.
