The first land registry was completed towards the construction of Shri Banke Bihari Mandir Corridor in Vrindavan. The efforts of the committee and administration formed on the instructions of the Supreme Court will give new impetus to the darshan system, tourism and local employment.
Mathura. Friday became a historic day for the devotees of Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Ji in Vrindavan, the city of Kanha. The first registry of land was successfully completed, taking the first concrete step towards the construction of the grand and divine Shri Banke Bihari Mandir Corridor. The path for this ambitious project has been paved by the joint efforts of the High Powered Management Committee formed on the orders of the Honorable Supreme Court and the District Administration. The construction of this corridor will not only make the darshan of Thakur ji easier, but will also give a new direction to the development of the entire Braj region.
Goswami family happily got the first land registry done
For Shri Banke Bihari Mandir Corridor, registration of a part (69.26 square meters) of property number-25 of Biharipura area was done in favor of Tehsildar Sadar. Yati Goswami, Abhilash Goswami and Aniket Goswami voluntarily executed the sale deed of their land for this sacred cause.
This first registry was made possible due to the efforts of District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and Additional District Magistrate Dr. Pankaj Kumar Verma, which is considered an important beginning towards getting the corridor construction off the ground.
Balanced combination of tradition and modern facilities
The High Powered Management Committee formed as per the directions of the Supreme Court includes representatives of administration, police, archeology department and Goswami community. The committee has incorporated everyone’s suggestions in the plan by continuously communicating with the temple Goswamis, Sevayats, traders and local citizens.
Modern facilities will be developed in the proposed corridor while preserving the ancient religious dignity and cultural identity of Vrindavan. This will maintain the divinity of Braj and devotees will get a better experience.
Safe and well organized darshan arrangements for devotees
A safe environment, proper seating arrangement, drinking water facility and easy entry-exit gates will be developed for the devotees under the corridor. This will provide relief from the huge crowd and chaos in the narrow streets of Vrindavan. After the construction of the corridor, the darshan of Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Ji will become more safe, simple and convenient.
Religious tourism and local employment will get a boost
The construction of Shri Banke Bihari Temple Corridor is likely to significantly increase the number of devotees and tourists in Vrindavan. This will give a new impetus to religious tourism and will directly benefit the local economy.
The expansion of new hotels, restaurants, shops and services will also create new employment opportunities for the local youth. The committee has also clarified that those who voluntarily provide their land first will be given priority in future facilities.
Braj’s cultural identity will get a global platform
This project is not just a construction work, but a big step towards giving global recognition to the cultural and religious heritage of Braj. The district administration has appealed to all citizens and stakeholders to cooperate in this sacred work, so that the glory of Braj can be further highlighted on the world stage.
