Marco Bezzecchi aims to rebuild at Sachsenring after three zero finishes

Marco Bezzecchi sets his sights on redemption at the Sachsenring, eager to put a turbulent trio of   rounds behind him and reignite his campaign.

The Italian rider, who arrives in Germany no longer as  leader, faces a critical weekend after a series of incidents-including a violent high-speed crash at Assen and a suspension at Brno-that have shaken both his morale and his standing in the

Bezzecchi’s recent run has been fraught with adversity. In Hungary, he was caught up in a dramatic incident triggered by Jorge Martin. At Brno, disciplinary action saw him sidelined after colliding with a marshal, and in Assen, he suffered a spectacular fall at nearly 200 km/h. These setbacks have not only taken a toll physically but have also significantly impacted his points haul, leaving him on the back foot for the first time this season.

Despite these challenges, Bezzecchi remains focused on recovery and reconnection with his team. “I’m happy and motivated to get back on the bike,” Bezzecchi stated ahead of the German  “Obviously, I hope to recover a bit more physically in the coming days, but so far the healing is going well. I can’t wait to embrace my team again because after Assen, we need to regroup and keep looking forward together.” The Italian is determined to return to his early-season form and secure vital points at the Sachsenring.

Meanwhile, Jorge Martin is poised to capitalise on his strong momentum and seize the championship initiative. The Spaniard, now leading the standings, acknowledges the progress made but insists the ceiling has not yet been reached. “We approach this   in a good moment, and besides, I really like the Sachsenring,” Martin affirmed. “We still have room for improvement, but I’m convinced that, thanks to the work of Aprilia and the team in the garage, we’ll soon reach 100%. The main goal is to tackle the second half of the season with positive feelings and the assurance that we’ve given everything until the end.”

With the Sachsenring set to play a pivotal role, all eyes are on Bezzecchi’s resilience and Martin’s relentless ambition as the   season enters a crucial phase.
